About me and my business

I have always been a people person and enjoy helping people get the best out of themselves and others.

Right from the beginning of my HR career, I quickly realised that “Happy People are Productive People” and that they will always give more when they feel valued, that they belong, and enjoy what they do. I have built a strong career with this – something I am immensely proud of.

I have worked in some amazing forward-thinking businesses, where people are able to flourish, have autonomy, be creative, feel valued and that it’s ok to make and learn from mistakes. This made a real difference to the way people feel about their work, ultimately leading to the success, longevity and profitability of the business.

And just as I know what “good” looks like, I have also worked with the “not so good” traditional and toxic environments where there is little improvement, no innovation, bullying, and people are left to feel that they are just a number. It still surprises me when businesses invest in new machinery and technology, but not their people. All of which ultimately leads to high people turnover, loss of competitive advantage and a steady and painful decline.

I have learnt to appreciate that people are not black and white and can present many challenges. No two people are the same, they have different strengths and weaknesses, different ways of learning and different ways of reacting to certain situations. And if my experience has taught me anything it’s how to adapt to these different scenarios. It would be very boring if we were all the same!

I absolutely love what I do! I believe that everyone should enjoy their work because we spend a lot of time there. And so now I am on a mission to support ambitious business leaders, and their teams to make their work meaningful, enhance their commitment, motivation and connection to their work whilst ensuring the business is a profound success. Through innovative and engaging HR practices and life changing and fulfilling coaching.

And as for me. I'm easy going and love to laugh, I'm authentic, trustworthy, honest, and I care! I’m a Mum, Wife and doggy Mum, love rock music, baking, reading, walks in nature, history and having fun with friends. I’m not a pushy salesperson because I want what I offer to be right for you, as I much prefer to build strong, genuine and effective relationships.
